Waterclan is a group of clan cats that live near a huge lake not too far away from the barn. Most of their cats believe in Starclan, although they're not forced too. There are most of the normal clan positions, the only difference in hunters or fighters, depending on their body type. Almost all of the cats here are really good swimmers. Every moon, they gather on the High Peak, the highest rock in the lake, to discuss important matters.
The leader leads the clan along with the deputy, and is granted nine lives by Starclan. Whenever the leader dies, the deputy will replace him/her,
Deputies help the leaders make important choices and take the leader's place should he or she die. The deputy is in charge of assigning patrols. Should the leader be unable to fulfill his or her role for any reason, the deputy will temporarily take the leader's place. Should the deputy die, a new one must be assigned before the moon rises. Warriors can become deputy only after they mentored at least two apprentices.
Medicine cats have a close bond with Starclan and can't have mates, but are still free to retire at any time. They take care of the sick and wounded cats. They can sometimes receive prophecies from Starclan.
Medicine cat apprentices are trained by the medicine cat. They can earn their full name whenever the medicine cat decides it, but they will become medicine cats only after the current one dies.
Senior warriors are warriors that have served Waterclan for many moons, and they are usually chosen to be deputies. They sometimes even discuss matters with the deputy and leader.
Warriors are in charge of either hunting or fighting. The ones that hunt are called hunters, the ones that fight are called fighters. They can have usually only one apprentice at a time.
Apprentices are trained by the warriors of the clan. They can become apprentices once they're six moons old. It is decided wether they become fighters or hunters during their warrior ceremony.
Elders are warriors that retired because they either got old or crippled. Elders sometimes take up a new name. It is the clan's duty to tend for them. This role is usually done by the apprentices.
Queens are nursing she cats that are either expecting kits or already have them. Once they're kits become apprentices, they are free to return to their duties, wether thy be warriors or leaders.
Kits are young cats that are under six moons old. They are under the care of their mothers.

- The swamps, which border with the west side of the forest.
-The cave of whispers, which is where the medicine cats go to meet with Starclan.
-The east part of the prairie where the sheep graze.
